Slot has confirmed he will hold talks with Liverpool sporting director on Thursday
As Arne Slot chooses who will stay at Anfield to support him in his pursuit of the Premier League, Liverpool is nearing the end of the transfer window and has not yet added a player.
Liverpool still has work to do, and the January transfer market is only a few days away.
The Reds are running out of time to bolster their roster in order to support their pursuit of Premier League and Champions League glory, as they have not yet made any additions this winter. In addition to considering loans for their young players, the club also has work to do regarding exits.
However, it seems that Arne Slot is focused on attracting players in the approaching summer. The Dutchman seemed content with his team for the time being.
“I know people sometimes question this because they haven’t seen us doing a lot in the transfer market in the summer and now in the winter as well,” he stated. “We are pleased with the squad, therefore that’s the reason. However, I am aware that we will undoubtedly be strengthening during the summer.

Loan consented to
After leaving Red Bull Salzburg, Stefan Bajcetic has consented to finish a loan transfer to Las Palmas. According to reports on Thursday, the midfielder’s transfer was pending approval.
Bajcetic reconnected with former Liverpool coach Pep Lijnders when he joined Salzburg at the beginning of the season. The 20-year-old had alternated between the starting lineup and the bench before the latter was fired in December.
According to reports, the agreement with Las Palmas does not include a provision for making the move permanent. Additionally, according to The Athletic, the young player decided to join La Liga rather than Porto. Bajcetic was originally supposed to remain with Salzbug until the conclusion of this summer’s Club World Cup.

Arne Meeting for Slot Transfer
Richard Hughes and Liverpool manager Arne Slot were supposed to meet on Thursday to discuss transfers. The Dutchman was scheduled to discuss which players he wanted to stick with for the rest of the season.
Slot most likely said during the meeting that he wants to keep James McConnell at Anfield, but the Reds still need to make a choice on players like Jayden Danns. His Champions League performance persuaded the former Feyenoord manager.
Slot stated: “James McConnell, however, is unquestionably the one who will not move out on loan. I thought he was great today. Since he has been injured for a while, he hasn’t played much in the last six or seven months, but perhaps today would be a good day for him to go play (anywhere). He really impressed me today.
“He is always highly competitive, and that was evident in our training sessions. Although his performance didn’t surprise me, you never know how you’ll respond at this level.
Saudi Arabia’s charm offensive
Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, the Saudi Minister of Sport, said that watching Mohamed Salah play in the Middle East would be a “privilege.” Salah has six months left on his Liverpool contract, and Al-Hilal is starting to show interest in luring him away from Anfield.
“He’s the most well-known Muslim player in the world,” Turki Al-Faisal told Piers Morgan Uncensored. He is arguably among the world’s top two or three players. He has not yet agreed to a new contract. Is he? Is the huge prize him?
“Well, sure,” he continued, “because we’d love to have him if he checks all the proper boxes, even for us. He is, you know, Egyptian, and we get along well with him. We also feel that we are part of the Egyptian culture, history, and so forth.
Therefore, it would be a pleasure and an honour to have Mo Salahor and other players who are excellent role models in the Saudi League. Is it going to happen? The teams will have to make that decision and see what negotiations result.
