Supporters have responded strongly to footage of Nathan Jones’ response to Charlton Athletic’s late equaliser against Burnley on Tuesday night.
The Addicks trailed 2-1 in stoppage time at Turf Moor, but a spectacular finish from Ivan Mesik in the 97th minute earned the London side a point.
The Clarets took the lead after 36 minutes through Jacob Bruun Larsen, but Kayne Ramsay equalised early in the second half.
However, Largie Ramazani put the hosts ahead just before the hour mark, and they appeared to be on their way to back-to-back victories until Mesik scored in the penultimate minute.
Charlton has drawn six of its last eight league games, losing the other two, and has not won since August 29.
It was also Burnley’s fifth draw of the season, with both teams already played 10 Championship games in 2026/27.
