After Armando Broja returns to Stamford Bridge this summer following a terrible loan at Fulham, Chelsea has reportedly decided to sell him. When Raheem Sterling first saw Broja in training, he referred to him as “the truth,” but it appears that the striker’s form woes are going to end his time in west London.

Having failed to unseat Nicolas Jackson in the Chelsea starting lineup, Broja went on loan to Fulham in January. The Cottagers, who were in need of a dependable goal scorer, anticipated that the Blues academy product would be a regular starter.

Consequently, Broja was not prepared for Rodrigo Muniz’s subsequent goal-scoring run of nine goals in his last fourteen games, and manager Marco Silva has only been able to provide the loanee with sixty minutes of Premier League action.

As soon as he returns from Fulham, Broja and Chelsea are expected to part ways permanently, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. It is believed that clubs in England and continental Europe have a strong interest in the 22-year-old.

During a season-long loan at Southampton in 2021–2022, Broja made an impression. He went on to score six Premier League goals and established himself as a regular starter. He is a nightmare for defenders because of his quick speed and massive 6 feet 3 inch frame.

However, the Albanian international, who was born in Slough, lacks confidence and seems destined for a new challenge. A Chelsea departure appeared improbable when Broja signed a lucrative six-year contract in 2022.

Although he hasn’t scored many goals lately, teams like West Ham, Wolves, and Real Madrid have previously shown interest in him, so there will undoubtedly be a lot of it this summer.

In 2022, not long after joining Chelsea, Sterling was questioned about Broja. On UMM’s TikTok page, the former Manchester City player told Ian Wright, “He’s the fastest man in the world.”

“When people see him properly… yeah. I can’t lie, I’ve told my friends that he’s the next one. It’s him. I’d heard a lot of things about him before but never really watched him – he’s the truth. The truth.”

Broja signed with the Blues as a young schoolboy and has been a member of Chelsea’s roster for 15 years. The forward called it a “dream come true” to be a regular member of the first team.
