Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu shared a combined social media post after the Spaniard’s relationship was apparently confirmed.
Alcaraz, 22, returned to the top of the men’s rankings last weekend after winning the US Open in Flushing Meadows.
In the final, the Spaniard defeated competitor and defending champion Jannik Sinner in four sets, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.
Rumours have circulated in recent months that Alcaraz’s friendship with British star Raducanu is more than just a tennis partnership.
However, the two have held their cards close to their breast, insisting that they are simply good friends while acknowledging the stories and fan theories.
When questioned about the rumours, Raducanu previously stated, “I guess it comes with the territory, people being so curious.” I believe people are more interested in this news than any other tennis results or news. But I keep to myself, putting my private life to one side.
“It’s always funny when people try to find something out, but I try not to read into it so much.”
According to recent reports, Alcaraz is dating Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader.
According to E! News, Nader’s sister, Grace Ann, was the one who told the truth about Alcaraz and Nader.
When asked about the couple during Raising Cane’s New York Fashion Week show on Wednesday, Grace Ann told the Daily Mail, “The whispers are genuine. Dating is such a vague phrase. But I know he is the man of the hour.”
When asked if she would be meeting the new world number one, Grace Ann replied, “I am dying to. “Such a cutie.”
Amid continuous allegations about Alcaraz’s relationship status, the Spaniard appeared in a shared Instagram post with Raducanu, as well as American couple Amanda Anisimova and Frances Tiafoe.
The post occurred as Alcaraz prepares to face Tiafoe in the Racquet at The Rock tournament, which will be held at Prudential Centre in December.
Meanwhile, Raducanu will face US Open finalist Anisimova.
Raducanu also shared a story on Instagram, posting a photo of herself on the tennis court with the caption “Sun in September.” “Good week.”
