Breaking News: Man Utd ‘launch hijack’ to stun Premier League rivals after ‘£50m transfer bid accepted’

Man Utd is trying to steal a move from its Premier League rivals in late January.

Before the January transfer deadline, Manchester United is reportedly trying to sabotage Tottenham Hotspur’s bid to get Mathys Tel, a striker for Bayern Munich. In order to give Ruben Amorim much-needed attacking reinforcements, the Red Devils have stepped up their pursuit of Tel on an initial loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old is reportedly being courted by several Premier League teams after he left Bayern earlier this month in pursuit of consistent playing time.

His pursuers include United, who are trying to address their startling goalless record after Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund both struggled this season.

Together, Hojlund and Zirkzee have scored five goals in the Premier League, which helps explain United’s pitiful 28 points after 23 games.

The Old Trafford giants have been searching for new firepower because Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho may leave before Monday’s deadline.

Additionally, they have apparently made an attempt to sign Tel, who is rumoured to consider Manchester his top destination even though Tottenham has shown more interest.

Sky Germany claims that United is still very much in the running for his services and has started negotiations with Bayern over a possible loan agreement.

In order to buy some time, contact has been made with the Bundesliga powerhouses, although it is said that a move is contingent on Rashford or Garnacho making way in the next few days.
