Paul Scholes’ brilliant response to Jamie Carragher saying he only won ‘six or seven’ Premier League trophies quickly goes viral

In a hilarious video that went viral, Paul Scholes slammed Jamie Carragher’s assertions about the Premier League trophies that the Manchester United legend had won.

Fans of the Premier League have been debating who they believe to be the best player who has ever competed in the competition ever since the Premier League was first established in 1992.

Considering the fact that there are teams such as the Centurions of Manchester City, the Invincibles of Arsenal, and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, there are a great number of players who have earned a place in the conversation.

Scholes had to remind his former rival exactly why he deserves to be mentioned as a potential option in a hilarious clip that has gone viral online. This occurred while Scholes was discussing the topic with Carragher, who is a legend in the Liverpool football club.

During the most recent episode of The Overlap’s Fan Debate, Scholes and Carragher were having a conversation about who they believe deserves the title of the greatest Premier League footballer of all time.

Mohamed Salah, who had just finished what was possibly his best season to date, was the first name that the two of them considered before moving on to Henry, a player who is widely regarded as the best by a large number of fans.

Carragher, on the other hand, disclosed that there is one thing that might prevent the Arsenal legend from reaching his full potential, and in doing so, he inadvertently brought disrespect to his co-host.

Carragher responded by saying: “My point about Thierry was, he only two Premier Leagues, it wasn’t like he won six or seven like yourself and we’ve always put him.”

Scholes gives a prompt response, asking, “Six or seven?”

Following this, Carragher enquired about the number of titles that the former Manchester United player had actually won, and Scholes responded by stating that he had won eleven Premier League titles.

It’s a living hell. Laughter erupted throughout the room as Scholes made a joke about how cheesy b****** he was.

The response from Carragher was, “This is going to go viral!” Sincere apologies; this will not occur again.”

After that, Scholes goes on to admit that he agrees with Carragher’s assessment that it does not matter how many Premier League titles a player has won; they can still be considered the best based on their impact and performances.

Eventually, Carragher comes to a conclusion that Henry should be in the top three, with Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo coming in second and third, respectively. Meanwhile, United supporter Adam Mckola proposed that Wayne Rooney should be in the top three instead of Salah.
