Tottenham has declared that their summer preseason trip of Asia will include a match against Team K League.

As part of their preparations for the 2024–25 season, Spurs will play a squad made up of players from South Korea’s top division on Wednesday, July 31. Kickoff for the Coupang Play Series 2024 first round is scheduled for 8 p.m. Korean local time (12 p.m. BST).

On Saturday, August 3, Tottenham will play Bayern Munich in their second preseason match in Asia. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. The club’s match against Vissel Kobe at the Japan National Stadium on Saturday, July 27, will precede both of the South Korean matches at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

In 2022, Spurs defeated Team K League 6-3 thanks to two goals from Heung-Min Son during their preseason tour.

“I’m delighted to be taking Tottenham Hotspur to Japan this summer for an exciting fixture against Vissel Kobe,” Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou said in a statement following the announcement of the preseason tour of Asia in April. We will be taking another step toward getting ready for the 2024–2025 season with this friendly.

I spent a lot of time managing in Japan, so I know the nation well. There are a lot of fervent football fans there, and I’m excited for the players to see local culture, assist charitable organizations, and take in the excitement of Japan National Stadium.

On July 17, at Tynecastle in Edinburgh, Tottenham’s first summertime preseason matchup is against Hearts. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Three days later, on July 20, at Loftus Road, they take on London rivals Queens Park Rangers (kick-off 3pm).
