Swansea City Release Statement Following Incident in Match Against Millwall

Swansea City have issued a statement following a reported incident of racial abuse thrown at winger Jisung Eom during their win against Millwall on Tuesday evening.

The Swans scored a thrilling 1-0 victory at The Den, with substitute Ronald scoring late to retain Vitor Matis’ team at the top of the Championship.

However, the outcome has been overshadowed by an incident in the second half, when Swansea reported alleged racial insults directed at Eom, who was warming up on the touchline.

Referee Edward Duckworth halted play for over seven minutes to address the situation, following which the Welsh club issued a statement.
