Ethan Nwaneri is listed as a member of Greg Lincoln’s u17 squad, so England has added another player to their initial call-up of two for the international break at Arsenal.

The England under-17 team is aiming to qualify for the championship tournament in Cyprus in May by competing in Euro elite-round qualifiers this week.

Nwaneri will be a member of a team that plays Northern Ireland, France, and Hungary. Placing in the top two of the group will guarantee a spot in the summer competition.

But while one young gunner was called up, an injury forced another to leave international duty.

most recent information and updates about injuries at Arsenal Amario Cozier-Duberry was called up to the England U19 squad, but the England Football website has since confirmed that he withdrew due to an injury.

When the Arsenal U-21 team plays Stoke City on April 8, hopefully Cozier-Duberry will be back.

The only other young Arsenal player to be called up for the England u21 team was Brooke Norton-Cuffy. Norton-Cuffy is a Millwall loanee at the moment.

The total lack of participation from Myles Lewis-Skelly is surprising, and Reuell Walters is just another mistake. Perhaps the choice was made because neither has been participating in football on a regular basis recently.

If they were playing regularly, you would think they would be involved.
