According to Jack Grealish, Manchester City is the clear favorite to win the Premier League the following year.

Pep Guardiola’s team defeated Arsenal by two points to make history by becoming the first team to win four consecutive Premier League titles in 2023–24. But it’s all resuming in less than three months, and Grealish believes City can win a fifth title in five years.

The former Aston Villa player was questioned on Thursday, talkSPORT, about whether City is the favorite to win the title the following season. Grealish stated: “We most likely are right now, particularly with the players we have and the manager as the key component. But hear me out: I think there are a ton of excellent teams. It will be challenging, but let’s hope.”

Grealish continued, “Listen, as soon as I left Villa, which is one of the toughest decisions I ever had to make, I wanted to win stuff.” Following Man City’s Premier League victory. Fortunately, we’ve won a lot since I came here. Being from England and having grown up here, the Premier League was the only trophy I really wanted to receive.

“Winning three straight is just amazing. To be honest, I didn’t think I would win three straight when I signed here, but this has been incredible. I’m grateful for everything I have and hope to have more in the future.”

After losing their last two attempts to win the title, Arsenal will be eager to bolster during the summer transfer window. According to football.london, Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig is one player who has been linked to Arsenal, who are looking for a dynamic center-forward.

Another striker on Edu and Mikel Arteta’s radar is Alexander Isak of Newcastle; supporters may view the Swede as the ideal addition. Jorrel Hato, who recently extended his contract at Ajax, is another long-term target who still has supporters in north London.
