Manchester City

Comparison of Manchester City’s upcoming six Premier League matches with those of Liverpool and Arsenal.

Manchester City was unable to secure the top position in the Premier League table on Sunday, as they battled to a 1-1 draw against their championship contenders, Liverpool, at Anfield.

The squad led by Pep Guardiola had a stronger start compared to the other team and took the lead thanks to John Stones’ first goal since April of the previous year. Liverpool equalized in the second half by converting a penalty kick through Alexis Mac Allister.

City were fortunate to avoid conceding a goal as Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo both failed to convert significant scoring opportunities towards the end of the match. Arsenal finished the weekend at the top of the Premier League table as the rewards were ultimately divided.

MEN Sport has analyzed City’s upcoming six encounters in the league and assessed the future challenges for their competitors in the race for the Premier League title.
