Karlan Grant has reacted to Charlton Athletic announcing a contract extension for Tyreece Campbell.

Following a great start to the new Championship season, the Addicks have signed the 22-year-old to a new long-term contract.

The forward progressed through the London club’s academy system before becoming a fixture in the main team.

Campbell scored seven goals and provided one assist to help Charlton win promotion from League One in 2024/25.

In his first year back in the second tier, he continued to be an important part of the club, scoring three goals and assisting three others as the team ended 19th in the standings.

The attacker has scored in each of their first two league games of the new season, as well as their EFL Cup win over Cheltenham Town.
