Bruno Fernandes has stated that he will think about his future this summer and that his desire to stay at Manchester United will determine whether or not he stays.

With the exception of a few young players, United will evaluate offers for practically the whole team this summer, as reported by Telegraph Sport this week. Fernandes has also indicated that he is open to a move.

He remarked, “Obviously, it depends on more than just me, does it?” “A player must always want to be here, but you must also want him to stay.” I feel like there’s that right now on both sides.

“Obviously, this season hasn’t been at the caliber I’d hoped for, either individually or collectively, thus far, so I’m not thinking too much about the future.

To be perfectly honest, nothing will be able to divert my attention from the FA Cup final and the Euros at this point, so if I have to consider quitting the Premier League, it won’t be until after the competition.

The 29-year-old Portugal midfielder still has two full seasons left on his Old Trafford contract, but there is a one-year extension option. After joining from Sporting Lisbon for a fee that began at £47 million and could reach £68 million based on performance-related goals, he is currently in his fourth season at United.

With his contract and reputation at United since his arrival, he would still fetch a healthy price if he were to be sold. After he turned the match against Sheffield United around, Erik ten Hag recently gave him praise.

Ten Hag said, “He demonstrates his leadership.” It’s crucial to pay attention to his energy and how he transitions in both directions. He tries to uplift the group. We are really happy with his performance and attitude, and he is doing really well.

“I believe we placed him in the ideal spots; he finds them.” He makes the right choices when he is in that situation. He has key actions, assists, scores goals, and creates a lot. Therefore, we are quite pleased with his performances.
