Arsenal’s task going into this weekend is very straightforward: win, and the race for the title will definitely go to the season’s final game. Manchester United, possibly the most unpredictable team in the league, stands in their way.

They can be eliminating teams like Liverpool from the FA Cup and winning games against them one moment, then getting destroyed 4-0 by Crystal Palace and falling short against Fulham at home. But Arsenal are playing some of their best football of the season; they have momentum and a more available squad than ever before.

Jurrien Timber is also a candidate for the team and may join the traveling group for the first time since the season’s first game. Given that Takehiro Tomiyasu was not visible during Tuesday’s training session, Timber’s return may have come at the ideal moment.

In the meantime, United’s numerous injury concerns significantly contributed to their disorganized team’s four goals conceded at Selhurst Park. While Aaron Wan-Bissaka once again played at left-back during a season where both Luke Shaw and his backup Tyrell Malacia missed the majority of the play, Casemiro struggled in the center of defense.

Nothing is guaranteed, but Erik ten Hag might be able to call upon some returning players. Because of this, the Gunners believe that, in order to win the Premier League for a record 27 times, very little, if any, change is required.

If Tomiyasu fails to impress at left back, Timber is a backup. Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior are the other two options; the former may be chosen away from home due to his increased defensive stability.

In other areas, the team successfully selects itself thanks to the return to form of Bukayo Saka and the excellent goal-scoring play of Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard. Three midfield players—Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, and the returning Thomas Partey—have gone unopposed.

With the combination of the improved form and the weekly rest that was absent during April, Mikel Arteta’s significant adjustments have since subsided. It will be easy for Ten Hag to guess Arsenal’s possible formation, but getting ready for it is a whole other story.

Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Havertz, Trossard are the Arsenal players facing Manchester United.
