The complete list of Norwich City players that will leave this summer. Kenny McLean

Norwich City has not got the season that fans hoped for when Liam Manning was appointed manager in the summer.

The Canaries are in a relegation struggle, with Philippe Clement currently in command of the first-team squad.

The Norfolk club hopes to escape relegation, having not dropped below the third tier since 2009/10.

As the season comes to a close, let’s look at the Norwich players that may leave for free in the summer.

Jeffery Schlupp

Jeffrey Schlupp joined Norwich City last summer after leaving Crystal Palace, signing a one-year contract.

Despite his extensive Premier League experience, the midfielder has yet to make a significant impact at Carrow Road.

As things stand, it would be remarkable if he stayed with the club after this season and the end of his present deal.

Emiliano Marcondes

Last summer, Norwich triggered a clause in Emiliano Marcondes’ contract, extending his stay with the club for another year.

However, his contract is slated to expire in June, which means he might leave Carrow Road at the conclusion of the season.

The midfielder has slid down the pecking order at Carrow Road this season, which may imply that he will not be a member of the squad for much longer.

Shane Duffy

Shane Duffy committed to a three-year contract with Norwich when he moved from Brighton to Carrow Road in July 2023.

The defender’s contract is nearing its end, and his departure from the club appears certain.

The centre-back has become a marginal player, earning little minutes under Manning and Clement this season, so his exit makes the most sense at this point.

Kenny McLean

Kenny McLean has been a key member of the Norwich squad this season, but his contract is scheduled to expire in the summer.

The Scotland international agreed to a contract extension that will last until June 2026, although the Canaries have the option to extend it by another year.

Given his importance to the club, it would be remarkable if the Championship club let him leave for free rather than using this option in the 34-year-old’s contract.

Tony Springett

Tony Springett has struggled for consistent minutes during his tenure at Norwich, and his contract is scheduled to expire this summer.

The Irishman has played little minutes this season, as the club struggles at the bottom of the second division standings.

The Canaries have no option to extend his contract for another year, and it would be unsurprising if he left the Norfolk club for free at the conclusion of the season.

Daniel Barden

Daniel Barden has been far down the pecking order at Norwich since graduating from the club’s first team academy system.

The goalkeeper’s contract expires in June 2026, which means he will become a free agent at the end of the season unless something changes.
