In brief
Incredibly high salary increases for key players have coincided with Arsenal’s return to the top of English football.
As their salary expenditure continues to rise, the Gunners are already adding more new players to their 2025–26 roster.
After a new arrangement, Gabriel is reportedly earning “north of £100k,” though no one has disclosed the precise amount.
Under Mikel Arteta’s leadership, Arsenal has risen to the top of the Premier League in recent years. However, as evidenced by their pay bill, the Gunners haven’t been afraid to shell out enormous sums of money to regain the top spot.
In addition to spending a lot of money to secure long-term contracts for its most valuable assets, the north London club has added some of the biggest names in recent transfer windows. Nevertheless, a complete list of Arsenal players’ salaries may be seen below. The fact that record signing Declan Rice and standout player Bukayo Saka aren’t the highest paid players at Emirates Stadium adds some surprises to this list.
Kepa Arrizabalaga was just added to Goalkeepers Gunners’ roster.
After a stellar stint in goal for the north Londoners, where he won the Golden Glove, David Raya’s loan transfer from Brentford to Arsenal was finalized in the summer of 2024. The Sun claims that the goalie, who signed an undisclosed long-term contract, is now earning £85,000 a week for his work at the Emirates Stadium and is now regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
The Gunners sold their backup goalkeeper to Southampton last summer in order to remove Aaron Ramsdale’s large £120,000 weekly contract from their books. After spending time on loan at Real Madrid and Bournemouth, Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga replaced him and will now receive £75,000 every seven days. Karl Hein, meanwhile, makes £10k a week while with the Gunners, although his playing time is anticipated to be restricted. He was loaned to La Liga team Real Valladolid last summer. After spending the previous season on loan, Neto has now returned to Bournemouth, where he is earning £50,000 per week.

Defenders
There’s a huge gap between Saliba and Gabriel’s wages
The top defensive central duo in the English Premier League is now William Saliba and Gabriel. Although both players have performed admirably on the field throughout three consecutive championship runs, the younger player receives a higher salary. After signing a new contract in 2023, Saliba’s income nearly doubles that of his co-conspirator.
Although the precise amount is still unknown, the Standard reports that Gabriel now makes “north of £100,000-per-week” after recently renewing his contract.
Ben White earns a respectable £150,000 a week playing full-back. The Englishman missed a lot of last season due to injury, but he will undoubtedly be a major part of Arteta’s plans for the 2025–2026 campaign. He also wants to regain his spot in the national team lineup after declaring that he is eager to patch things up with Thomas Tuchel after the 2026 World Cup.
According to Capology, Riccardo Calfiori, an Italian defender who earns £120,000 a week, was confirmed to join Arsenal from Bologna last summer. The only two defenders at the Emirates making less than £100,000 per week are Jurrien Timber and Jakub Kiwior. However, given his contributions last season, where he filled in all over the backline where major injuries left some gaps, it is anticipated that the former will receive a pay increase.
Emerging talent One of the highest-paid youngsters in international football, Myles Lewis-Skelly’s exact weekly salary is still unknown, but according to Football365, it might range from £25,000 to £100,000—a remarkable amount for someone who has only played one professional season. Kieran Tierney, however, has rejoined Celtic, removing £110,000 off the books.

Midfielders
Martin Zubimendi set to earn a six-figure weekly wage
Two of the Premier League’s top midfielders are Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard. In the last 12 months, the two have been essential in Arteta’s engine room, and the first of them receives £240,000 a week in compensation. In the meantime, Martin Odegaard is now the club’s highest-paid player thanks to his new contract. Although the precise amount is yet unknown, it indicates that the Norway international makes at least £280,000 every week.
The newest midfield player to join the Gunners is Martin Zubimendi. The former Real Sociedad anchor, who was a top target for both Real Madrid and Liverpool, is expected to receive about £100,000 per week in exchange for the opportunity to play with Rice and Odegaard. That’s roughly twice what he was making back in Spain.
Previously earning £110,000 a week, Jorginho left to join Flamengo earlier this summer. Mikel Merino, who had to play as a striker for a significant portion of the 2024–25 season, makes £90,000 a week, which shows how much Arteta’s hiring team has spent on their engine room. Emile Smith-Rowe, for example, was moved to make room.

The Forwards
Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are quite wealthy.
The fact that Kai Havertz is among the highest paid players at the club is astounding, even though he may have made a comeback in the second half of his rookie season wearing the recognizable white and red shirt. Although it caused some controversy, the 26-year-old’s transfer from Chelsea to Arsenal was obviously a wise one for him financially, professionally, and now physically after he has put on some muscle.
Prior to his deal, the German had the highest income of any of his colleagues going into the new season, but Odegaard has since surpassed him. After leaving Manchester City, the reigning champions, to go to the Emirates, Gabriel Jesus is unsurprisingly well paid to play for the Gunners. The Brazilian striker is paid more than others at the club, despite his recent struggles in front of goal.
Exciting wingers Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka are only £15,000 apart, but when their contracts are next extended, they are both expected to surpass £200,000 a week. With a number of spectacular goals, Leandro Trossard has more than paid back his £90,000 weekly pay during his successful 18 months at the club. Furthermore, it has been stated that Reiss Nelson earns £100,000 each week, which is far more than Ethan Nwaneri’s pitiful £6,000.
Ethan Nwaneri is now negotiating a new contract and should soon see a significant wage increase on his current £6,000 weekly salary. However, if there are any problems with the negotiations, Chelsea is prepared to strike.
