Marcus Rashford’s squad number for Manchester United has been removed.
After his Manchester United squad number was cruelly taken away from him in favor of new youngster Matheus Cunha, Marcus Rashford made his first post.
Diego Leon, who joined United from Cerro Porteno in Paraguay, and Cunha, who came from Wolverhampton Wanderers, have both been signed officially this summer.
In addition to the two players already mentioned, Bryan Mbeumo, a star for Brentford, has been strongly linked to a move to United.
Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia are among the players who have been linked to leaving.
“Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho all want to leave the club,” Nathan Salt, a reporter for the Daily Mail, posted on social media.
“Those five players have been informed that they must return to preseason later in July in order to attempt to finalize their departure from the team. They will be welcomed back at Carrington if they are unable to find another club.
According to reports, United has already chosen to give Cunha, their new acquisition, Rashford’s number 10 shirt, adding to his problems.
Ben Jacobs wrote: “The No. 10 shirt was ordered by Matheus Cunha. He is the type of player who aspires to take on the role of the protagonist and bear the weight of wearing the number.
Nonetheless, Cunha showed respect for the fact that his #MUFC shirt was still Marcus Rashford’s when he joined. During talks, United told Rashford ahead of time that Cunha would receive number 10. Rashford is considering moving away, so he understands. Exit is seen as appropriate for everyone. Barcelona continues to be Rashford’s preferred team.
Rashford made his first social media post after his shirt number was removed on Saturday.
“#NewProfilePic” was the caption on the 27-year-old’s photo of himself in the gym.

After going on loan to Aston Villa, Rashford recorded four goals and six assists in the second half of the 24–25 season.
Rashford has subsequently returned to Old Trafford after Villa elected not to exercise their £40 million option to purchase him.
He has been linked to transfers to Bayern Munich this week as well as Barcelona.
