You might be surprised to learn that one individual was picked the star player by football fans during the Champions League encounter between Barcelona and Inter Milan.
All eyes were on the San Siro on Tuesday night as Inter Milan and Barcelona faced off in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final matchup following an exciting 3-3 tie in the first game.
Barcelona’s Eric Garcia, Dani Olmo, and Raphinha put together a second-half comeback after Inter had a 2-0 lead at halftime thanks to goals from Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu.
Even though Inter defender Acerbi equalised in the final seconds of the match with Barcelona seemed guaranteed to win, he is another player who caught the attention of the supporters despite not being a goal scorer.
