The reason why Victor Lindelof was forced to leave Old Trafford during Man Utd vs Lyon revealed

An explanation has been provided as to why Victor Lindelof was compelled to depart Old Trafford during Manchester United’s match against Lyon.

In the Europa League, a great match was played between Manchester United and Lyon, a French club from Ligue 1 on Thursday night.

During the evening, the match finished with a score of 2-2, and in order to establish a winner, extra time was required.

A spectacular comeback victory of 5-4 was won by goals scored by Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, and Harry Maguire in the last minutes of the game. Rayan Cherki and Alexandre Lacazette had previously set the score 4-2 down.

It was stated after the game that defender Lindelof had to leave Old Trafford owing to personal circumstances. The motivation behind his departure was not disclosed.

It has now been disclosed by Maja, the defender’s wife, that Lindelof was forced to leave Old Trafford when their kid was taken to the hospital after suffering a major head injury for treatment.

In a statement that was published in The Sun, Maja was quoted as saying, “Our babysitter called and said that they were in an ambulance on their way to the hospital an hour before the [Lyon] game started.”

“The entire upper portion of my youngest son Francis’s skull had been severed. During the course of his pursuit of his older brother Ted Louie at home, he ended up falling down our glass staircase accidentally.

It seemed as if his forehead was split in two. On both Thursday and Friday, he was admitted to the hospital. It was necessary for him to have plastic surgery in order to reconstruct his forehead. This individual was given an anaesthetic.

“It is the first time I have ever experienced something like this happening with one of my children,” she stated. “I could not have been more surprised.” It was a really horrible experience, and it is not something that I would ever want to go through again.

The procedure was successful, and Francis is already well on his way to recovery. As a Viking, he has returned to his normal self. Despite the fact that everyone was quite concerned, he continues to live his life as if nothing had occurred. A large scar is expected to appear on his forehead, according to the physicians. But that’s not the point; I’m thrilled that everything worked out so beautifully.

On the weekend, Lindelof made his return to action for United, which they played against Wolverhampton Wanderers and lost by a score of 1-0.

With 79 minutes remaining on the clock, Leny Yoro came in to replace the Swede, who had begun for Ruben Amorim’s team that was playing.
