Real Madrid star slams Arsenal in incredibly salty interview after their Champions League defeat

Lucas Vazquez, a great player for Real Madrid, did not draw any punches when he attacked Arsenal following the elimination of Los Blancos from the Champions League.

When Los Blancos arrived at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night, they were faced with the extremely difficult challenge of overcoming a 3-0 deficit against Arsenal in the first place.

A 2-1 victory for the home team was secured by goals scored by Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. Vinicius Jr. was the one who scored for the opposition. Despite all of the fighting words that occurred prior to the match, the Madrid players were once again not the best.

Arsenal has made it to the last four, where they will face the French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain. This is the outcome of their success.

Following Inter Milan’s elimination of the German powerhouse Bayern Munich, Barcelona will face Inter Milan in the next round of the draw. Inter Milan was the team who eliminated Bayern Munich.

After the game, Madrid star Vazquez criticised Arsenal’s strategy, stating that they “did almost nothing.” He made this statement after the match.

The Spaniard provided the following statement to Movistar+, as reported by The Mirror: “It’s a tough situation. I believe that we made an attempt today. It turned out to be a difficult match. We did not have as many opportunities as we would have wanted to have.

At no point did we lose sight of the objective. Despite the fact that there were interruptions, it did not take place.

Vazquez continued by saying, “Perhaps we lacked more clarity.” Have more patience.

It was to defend, to fulfil their mission, that they came. They did just about nothing over the first half of the game. When the squad applied pressure in the second half, they were able to secure the victory.

Towards the end of the interview, Vazquez made a commitment to the Madrid supporters. He remarked, “Thank you for the atmosphere you created.” At some point, Real Madrid will come back. Something is not completely lost. There is still a significant amount of time remaining in the season. The group is coming together and is ready to accomplish what is still remaining.

As we look to the future, Madrid still has two opportunities to win a big national championship.

Given that there are seven matches remaining to play in the La Liga season, they are now four points behind their fierce rivals Barcelona in the rankings.

While all is going on, the team coached by Carlo Ancelotti is also competing in the final of the Copa del Rey, where they will once again play Barcelona.

The return of Madrid to La Liga action is scheduled for this weekend, and it will take place on Sunday night when they play Athletic Club.
