With regard to the ‘future of football’ in 2018, the European Union Football Association (UEFA) has identified fifty rising stars. What transpired with them is as follows.



In 2018, a group of reporters from all over Europe who work for UEFA selected some of the players who were on the rise during the 2017–18 season.


These players have gone on to become household names, winning the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or while also earning themselves high-dollar transfers. Some of the players who were supported have become household names.



Others, on the other hand, have not been able to achieve the heights that were anticipated for them.
