Thomas Tuchel accused of ‘messing’ player around after completing his first England camp

Following the conclusion of his first England camp, fans have accused Thomas Tuchel of “messing” with a player by making him feel uncomfortable.

Following a victory over Albania by a score of 2-0, Tuchel’s first England camp came to a close with a 3-0 victory over Latvia. This victory came just a few days after the same victory over Albania.

Despite the fact that Reece James, who scored a stunning free kick, Harry Kane, and Eberechi Eze all got on the scoresheet as the Three Lions opened their World Cup qualifying campaign with back-to-back victories at Wembley Stadium, fans believe that it is time for a “uncomfortable conversation” about one player.

James, Marc Guehi, Jarrod Bowen, and Morgan Rogers were called up to replace Kyle Walker, Dan Burn, Curtis Jones, and Phil Foden in the lineup for the game against Albania that took place last Friday. The German manager made these four substitutions.

The unexpected call-up of Jordan Henderson to the England squad allowed him to participate in both games, and Eze was given some playing time in the match against Latvia.

Supporters on social media expressed their frustration with the absence of Morgan Gibbs-White in the match against Latvia.

It was initially decided that Gibbs-White would not be included in Tuchel’s first England party.

Despite this, the star player from Nottingham Forest was included in Tuchel’s squad after Cole Palmer, who was playing for Chelsea, withdrew from the competition.

Gibbs-White, on the other hand, was not included in the England squad for their match against Albania; however, he was included in the squad for the match against Latvia.

The 25-year-old player, who has been instrumental in Forest’s promotion to third place in the Premier League this year, was unable to add to his two England caps because he was not given the opportunity to play for the senior national team for the third time.

Some England supporters took to social media to express their displeasure with Tuchel’s decision to not play Gibbs-White.

According to the comments of one user on X, “Has Tuchel been able to mess around with any player more than Morgan Gibbs-White this week?” From the point of view of the National Football Club, it will be wonderful for him to return without any injuries; however, it is a farce that one of the most in-form players in the Premier League has not been given a single minute on the field in either of the two games.

“Is Morgan Gibbs-White there just to perform card tricks?” a second person slammed the door on. He must be fuming because this call up is completely pointless. In all honesty, Tuchel’s behaviour is extremely disrespectful, and it’s a sign of disrespect for England.

As a result of being left out of Tuchel’s initial squad, Gibbs-White admitted that he was “upset” and “a little bit disappointed.”

“I was upset, a little bit disappointed, but at the same time you always have to look at the quality of players England have,” he told BBC Radio 5 Live during his interview.

Despite the fact that I took that into consideration, I respected his decision when he informed me about it.

“I said to him, ‘I think I have done enough to get the call-up considering the club form that we are in, but you are the manager, you make the decisions, and I will respect that’.”
