Spurs hero ‘booked’ Michael Dawson during Legends match
Robbie Keane, a Tottenham legend, sent teammate Michael Dawson off the field during Sunday’s Legends game against AC Milan. The Irishman snatched the card from the referee and flashed it at Dawson after scoring a hat-trick in Spurs’ 6-2 triumph over a Milan team that included players like Andrea Pirlo and Cafu.
After Dawson failed to pick up Jermain Defoe with a long-range pass, Keane determined that Dawson should be sent off. The defender-turned-pundit screwed up the final ball, but Dawson had plenty of time and space to play a pass to Defoe, who would have been through on goal.
