Before Ange Postecoglou begins his second season in north London, a number of players could be headed out the door at Tottenham this summer.
Richarlison and Emerson Royal are among the 11 first-team players that Tottenham is open to offers for as Ange Postecoglou gets set to make a significant roster change this summer.
After moving from Celtic to Spurs in June 2023, Postecoglou helped the team finish in fifth place during his first full season, earning them a spot in the Europa League. They had a fantastic start to the season and were once again expected to finish in the Champions League, but a poor showing in the latter part of the season caused them to finish outside the top four, trailing Aston Villa, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal.
With a number of players up for sale, Postecoglou is planning a major roster overhaul in an attempt to rejoin Europe’s top club league. Last summer, Tottenham let go of eight players on loan or in a permanent deal in addition to selling Harry Kane and Harry Winks. This time around, that number may increase.
The Evening Standard reports that as part of their brutal overhaul, the Spurs are willing to sell Richarlison. The forward denied rumors that he is in talks with other teams and asserted that he has never expressed dissatisfaction with north London, all the while maintaining his insistence that he will not leave England.
After joining Spurs for £60 million from Everton two years ago, Richarlison is one of the players they are willing to let go for the right amount. After making 31 appearances last season, he scored 12 goals and added four assists, sparking the interest of multiple Saudi Pro League clubs.
Emerson Royal, who has drawn interest from AC Milan and several Saudi Arabian teams, is another player that Spurs are willing to let go. This week, his agent met with Milan representatives; however, the right-back was not the only player on the agenda. This season, the Brazilian has only started eleven Premier League games.

As their contracts are about to expire, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso may decide to leave the team along with Bryan Gil. The loanees Tanguy Ndombele, Japhet Tanganga, Djed Spence, Joe Rodon, and Sergio Reguilon are available for transfer and are not part of Postecoglou’s plans.
Ryan Sessegnon’s contract is up and he is anticipated to leave after an injury-plagued season, but Manor Soloman has had a challenging first season at Tottenham, and the Spurs are prepared to consider offers for him.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma are two midfield players that Postecoglou wants to keep, and it would take a huge offer for Spurs to consider selling either one. Lucas Bergvall and Timo Werner, who returned to Spurs on loan for another season, have already strengthened the team.
