Birmingham City will be attempting to contend for a play-off spot in the 2026/27 Championship season following a mediocre campaign the previous season.

Even though £1.75 million is not a large quantity of money in today’s world, it would be extremely disappointing for Birmingham if they were to lose Ducksch, especially after experiencing the same fate with Japanese forward Kyogo Furuhashi, who just transferred to LA Galaxy.

However, the German hasn’t been extensively involved in Davies’ pre-season plans since suffering an injury earlier this month, adding fire to such transfer speculation.
