Roy Keane predicts that a striker who has scored 16 goals will join Manchester United.

Roy Keane has commended Ollie Watkins for his exceptional performance during the season at Aston Villa and has predicted that he will have the opportunity to join a prestigious team such as Manchester United.

Aston Villa’s efforts this season have been quite impressive, as they presently occupy the fourth position in the Premier League standings.

One of the main factors contributing to their present position in the league is the exceptional performances of their top player, Watkins, who wears the number nine jersey.

The English forward has an impressive tally of 16 goals and 10 assists thus far in the season. In addition to his tenacious off-ball efforts, he has rapidly established himself as one of the premier strikers in the league.

During his appearance on Sky Sports on Sunday, Keane reiterated this viewpoint while commending Watkins’ impressive displays and asserting that he possesses the potential to compete for a leading team.

“I believe he has the potential to join one of the leading teams,” he stated through Birmingham Live.

“While Aston Villa is indeed a significant club, I am referring to renowned clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool, and, of course, Manchester City.”

The 28-year-old is likely to be highly sought after throughout the summer, as multiple teams are actively searching for a top-tier striker. However, due to the fact that he still has four years remaining on his contract, he will not come at a low cost.

Emery will rely on his striker, who has been consistently scoring goals, to maintain his impressive performance. The recent defeat against Spurs has put them in a precarious position, with only a two-point lead over their competitors in the Champions League.
