Norwich City will be striving for promotion to the Premier League next season following a solid finish to the previous season.
Philippe Clement turned things around at Carrow Road after the Canaries struggled in the first half of 2025/26.
The 52-year-old kept the team out of relegation trouble, with the club finishing ninth in the Championship table.
Norwich were only eight points away from the play-offs, giving fans reason to be positive about the coming year.
It might be a busy summer for the Norfolk outfit, which has also received a boost with the league confirming that the play-offs would contain an additional two clubs beginning in 2027 – this will give the squad even more confidence that they can challenge for promotion during the following 12 months.
Norwich City wants Palermo’s goalkeeper, but Scottish heavyweights are also interested.

According to Italian site Calcio Mercato, Norwich are interested in signing Palermo goalkeeper Sebastiano Desplanches.
The shot-stopper has returned after a loan spell at Pescara, where he appeared 25 times in Serie B last season.
However, he is not part of Palermo’s long-term plans, which might allow the Canaries to sign him.
However, the Championship side faces competition from Rangers, who want to lure the 23-year-old to Ibrox this summer.
Rangers have named Derek McInnes as manager and will attempt to strengthen their first-team squad following a poor third-place finish in the Premiership last season.
Desplanches joined Palermo in 2023 and has made a total of 23 league appearances, helping the club finish eighth in Serie B by 2025.
Norwich are unlikely to recruit Desplanches as a new first-choice goalkeeper, since Vladan Kovacevic cemented his position last season.
The Bosnian joined from Legia Warsaw last summer, and he appeared in 45 of their 46 league games, maintaining eight clean sheets.
The 28-year-old is expected to be a crucial part of Norwich’s plans for the coming season, but the Italian might be a backup option.
The 23-year-old was capped 16 times by Italy’s U21 team and has been praised for his potential despite not yet making it to Serie A.
It is also likely to be a low-cost deal, as Palermo intends to move him this summer.
Norwich will need to unload a backup to sign Sebastian Desplanches.

If Norwich are going to bring in the Italian, moving at least one of Dan Grimshaw or Vicente Reyes makes the most sense.
The Canaries do not need four first-team goalkeepers for next season, especially now that Kovacevic has established himself as their number one.
If an offer comes in for Grimshaw, who may be of interest to any number of League One clubs if made available, it would free up place in the squad for Desplanches.
However, at this juncture in his career, it would make more sense for the goalkeeper to prioritise a move to Rangers, as the Canaries have backup options available.
