Marcus Thuram mocks Lamine Yamal with savage post after Inter’s win over Barcelona before swiftly deleting it

After eliminating Barcelona and Lamine Yamal from the Champions League, the Inter Milan star didn’t hold back.

Shortly after eliminating Barcelona from the Champions League, Marcus Thuram, a star of Inter Milan, cruelly made fun of Lamine Yamal in a since-deleted social media post.

Inter Milan advanced with a score of 7-6 over the two legs of a thrilling Champions League semi-final matchup with Barcelona.

Throughout the two games, a number of players from both teams showed off their skills. One such player was Barcelona wonderkid Yamal, who scored in the first leg of the match but was unable to score on Tuesday night.

However, despite his best efforts throughout the match, Yamal was unable to keep his team from losing the Champions League, and his situation was worsened when Thuram, an Inter striker, cruelly made fun of him online.

Following Barcelona’s incredible comeback in the second half of Tuesday’s encounter, Thuram was praised by supporters for going up to Yamal and consoling him over what would have been a difficult defeat to endure.

But after they left the pitch, the Frenchman obviously had other plans, as he posted a picture of himself consoling Yamal with a cruel remark on his Instagram account.

Thuram wrote: “On a mission ehh!!” in response to the Barcelona player’s pre-game remarks.

The striker included two laughing faces with the remark, but he quickly deleted the picture after receiving a lot of negative feedback from supporters.

In reference to Yamal’s Instagram story, Thuram included the caption, “On a mission.”

Instead, Inter Milan will have the opportunity to win their fourth Champions League title and make up for their 1-0 loss to Manchester City in the 2022–2023 final. The Italian team will play either Paris Saint-Germain or Arsenal, who will settle their match at the Parc des Princes tonight, in the final at the Allianz Arena on May 31. Had Barcelona advanced to the Champions League final, Yamal would have been the youngest player ever to reach that stage of the competition and he would have had the opportunity to become the youngest-ever Champions League winner.
