Man united ready to meet £35m release clause for outstanding Bayer Leverkusen star with 22-G/A this season as Liverpool and Arsenal join race

Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in acquiring the services of Jeremie Frimpong, the defender from Bayer Leverkusen, after the current season concludes.

According to a report from Football Insider, both Premier League clubs have expressed interest in the 23-year-old player, and Arsenal is also monitoring his progress.

Frimpong has displayed exceptional performance for the German club this season, accumulating a total of 11 goals and 11 assists in various tournaments. He has the potential to be a valuable addition for any of the three Premier League clubs, and it will be intriguing to watch which club he ultimately joins.

Liverpool currently employs Trent Alexander-Arnold as their primary right back, but, there is speculation that the English national player may transition into a midfield role in the near future. Frimpong has the potential to be a valuable addition to the Reds, and if he joins, Alexander-Arnold would have the opportunity to play as an innovative midfielder.

At Manchester United, he has the potential to surpass Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has been rumored to be leaving Old Trafford. The ex-Crystal Palace defender has failed to meet the expectations since his transfer to Manchester United and there is a possibility that he will be transferred during the summer.

Arsenal frequently deploy Ben White as their right back. Frimpong is better suited for that position and his inclusion would enhance the Arsenal offense in a novel way.

The prospect of joining a prestigious Premier League team will be quite enticing for the young defender, and he may consider advancing his career during the summer.

The defender’s contract includes a release clause of £35 million, which the three English teams undoubtedly possess the necessary financial resources to activate.
