Man United fans breaks down in tears as he laments ‘toxic’ club

An emotional supporter has advised Sir Jim Ratcliffe to “get out” of Manchester United.

“The Red Devils are ‘absolutely toxic’ right now,” United supporter Dave said, choking back tears on talkSPORT in response to the team’s most recent loss.

On Sunday afternoon, Tottenham defeated Ruben Amorim’s team 1-0.

In north London, James Maddison’s goal in the first half was the deciding factor.

Amorim was forced to start eight adolescents on the replacement bench as United failed to rally.

His team is now only three spots above the relegation zone in the Premier League, in 15th place, after the loss.

After the last whistle, Dave called in to The last Word and didn’t hold back.

“Well, I think I’ll hit the nail on the head,” he explained. I mentioned that today had two negative aspects. Two pretty terrible sides, really.

“Listen, Manchester United would benefit greatly from the support of Ruben Amorim. Other than the fullback [Patrick Dorgu] he brought in, none of these guys are present.

“He hasn’t had any players in there. Now that Ratcliffe and these friends are putting pressure on the squad, I would say something.

“We must eliminate them. Every Manchester United supporter is aware that these individuals must leave our team. Ratcliffe is a jerk.

“I’m really upset about our club right now. Ratcliffe must leave. Ratcliffe, what 29 percent isn’t he? Qatar must step in and make the Glazers another offer to get rid of everything.

In February 2024, Ratcliffe purchased a minority share in the team from the Glazer family, and his INEOS business took over Old Trafford’s football operations.

Since then, the British millionaire has managed hundreds of layoffs in an effort to save the club money.

However, even after Erik ten Hag was fired in October, the team’s performance on the pitch has not improved.

Dave grew more upset about the situation and nearly started crying as he persisted in demanding change at the club.

He went on: “They must resolve the debt and any other issues pertaining to that club.

“Because that club is poisonous right now. It’s utterly poisonous, and since we love that club, it needs its supporters to clean it up.

And now I’m on the verge of tears. I’ve always adored that club, therefore I’m sad.

“That club meant the world to me, and right now, everything is going wrong. My dad brought me up via it in 1974.

“And we need that club to be back to where it should be the Busby Babes and everything we need that club to be.”

The Europa League is still United’s last chance to win a trophy and qualify for Europe this season, given they have already lost both domestic cups.

Amorim has implied that in order to make additions during the summer transfer window, the team will need to sell players.

If the Profit and Sustainability Rules are maintained for another season, United is likewise anticipated to be the team most impacted.
