Around the world, the Premier League title chase is usually the main attraction. With only England’s top teams standing a chance of winning the coveted Cup, there’s good reason for this. Following Jurgen Klopp’s parting announcement, Liverpool lost, while Manchester City narrowly defeated Arsenal to win a record-breaking fourth consecutive championship in 2024.
These three clubs are once again near the top of the table as we enter the second half of the 2024–2025 season. However, given City’s recent difficulties, it is highly likely that either Liverpool or the Gunners will win the championship this time.
We have listed every important fixture you need to be aware of and ranked each team according to how challenging the remainder of their top division fixtures will be, since the competition at the top of the league is still as exciting as ever.

Transitioning into a new era is never easy. Fear, anticipation, and nervousness are all mixed together in football and other spheres of life. Liverpool hasn’t faltered under Arne Slot’s leadership. Their performances on the pitch demonstrate that they still have some of the top players in the world, like Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Alisson.
Aside from a devastating loss to Nottingham Forest, the Reds have looked fantastic this season and are now in a strong position to win the entire thing. But, compared to both City and Arsenal, the team has an easier final stretch of games, which is fantastic news for the Merseyside club, especially since they are already seven points ahead of the competition.

Arsenal continues to pursue a major prize. They have won numerous FA Cups since taking home the Premier League in 2004, but they have never taken home the league championship or a European trophy. It was thought that their relocation to the Emirates Stadium would serve as a springboard for their long-held desire.
They are finally regarded as one of the top teams in Europe for a very good reason, even though it has taken more than ten years—much longer than anticipated. Even though Man City narrowly defeated them in 2024, they will have hope because they were able to compete with Guardiola’s team for such a long time.
Arsenal plays its final road game of the season against Southampton. But in the two weeks before, they play Newcastle and Liverpool. As the Gunners look for their first championship since 2004, these next few weeks will probably define their season.

Manchester City

At the end of the 2023–24 season, Man City made history by winning the league for the fourth time in a row. However, with only 13 games remaining in the season, it’s reasonable to think they won’t be winning five straight. Pep Guardiola’s team is now 16 points behind Liverpool at the top of the standings, far below their own typical standards.
The team has had a difficult season, and their recent 5-1 loss to Arsenal only made matters worse. Statistically speaking, the Cityzens have the easiest remaining schedule when compared to both Liverpool and Arsenal, but they appear to be too far behind to capitalise.
