Breaking News: Man City boss Pep Guardiola has finally addresses Vincent Kompany’s proposed switch from Burnley to Bayern Munich

Vincent Kompany, the manager of Burnley, has received the approval of Pep Guardiola ahead of his planned transfer to Bayern Munich.

To end his two-year tenure at Burnley, Kompany is in talks to succeed Thomas Tuchel.

From 2013 to 2016, Guardiola led Bayern to three league titles. Additionally, he is incredibly fond of and respectful of Kompany, a player he oversaw at Manchester City.

Guardiola maintains that Kompany is a good fit for his former club despite the fact that Kompany was relegated with the Clarets this season.

“I’m not sure, isn’t it not confirmed? If this turns out to be true, I’m glad that Bayern and Vinny are connected,” he remarked.

“I don’t care if Vinny was demoted with Burnley; I have strong feelings about him.

I have a high regard for him as a person and about his work because of a variety of factors, including his personality, media relations skills, and game knowledge. This is what I felt when I played against him and I know him a little bit.

“I hope Bayern Munich makes the right choice. I love that club and am in love with Bayern Munich for a lot of reasons, especially the people who are still there. I would love for them to make the best choice.

“They have a guy that we will support without conditions if they think Vinny is the right choice from Manchester City.”

Guardiola has said in the past that Kompany will eventually take over at Man Cit
