Main Reason Why Celtic best player refuses to discuss Parkhead future amid rumours

Celtic surpassed all expectations in the two games against Bayern Munich, giving the Bundesliga powerhouse a run for their money. They gained the admiration of many people by losing narrowly on aggregate and drawing away at the Allianz Arena. Jeffrey Schlupp was one of their top achievers in Germany.

It is never a good idea to write off a guy before he has even kicked a ball for Celtic. Schlupp serves as an excellent example of this.

Schlupp was fantastic against Bayern Munich. He was tasked with dealing with former Crystal Palace colleague Michael Olise, and he did an excellent job of defending against one of the best wingers in the world right now.

The Crystal Palace loanee also interacted with Leroy Sane. It’s safe to say that many people have altered their opinions about Schlupp’s signing.

In fact, many people would prefer to see him stay at Celtic beyond his loan period. Schlupp’s current term with Crystal Palace is expected to expire in the summer.

Unsurprisingly, there has been conjecture that his loan at Celtic Park will become permanent if and when he becomes a free agent. Schlupp isn’t ready to talk about it yet. According to STV News, he said:

“Everyone’s asking that question, but I’m here on loan until the end of the season.

“Anything beyond that is out of my hands at the moment, so I’ll just concentrate on the league for now. I want to win the league and the cup, and then we’ll see what happens.
It’s logical that Schlupp might want to keep his cards close to his chest. His contract expires in the summer, and he will want as much leverage as possible if he becomes a free agency.

Next summer, Celtic will sign Kieran Tierney as a free agent. However, Greg Taylor’s future with the club remains uncertain.
