The Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, resigned at the end of the campaign.
Jurgen Klopp stated that he would take a leave of absence before thinking about taking the bench again when he revealed in January that he would be leaving his position as manager of Liverpool.
After the season, the German is officially no longer the manager of the Reds, and he is relishing his first few weeks off. However, this hasn’t stopped his agency from reaching an agreement on a new contract for him after he left Liverpool.
For the next three years, his management group, Project MJK, will serve as SPORTFIVE’s commercial and marketing representative, according to an announcement made by the international sports marketing firm.

As part of the agreement, the agency’s main focus will be on strengthening Klopp’s worldwide brand recognition and developing international relationships and markets, with an emphasis on Asia and the USA, as MJK looks to investigate new opportunities for market expansion.
Because of this agreement, project MJK and SPORTFIVE opened Klopp’s personal Instagram account last month in an effort to increase the German’s global exposure and foster a deeper relationship with his followers. But those are only the initial steps of their ambitions.
After the news, MJK managing director Mike Jaggle declared, “We are very excited about this partnership.” “We will be able to expand our footprint and investigate innovative opportunities outside of Germany thanks to SPORTFIVE’s industry-leading experience and worldwide infrastructure.”
According to Philipp Hasenbein, chief operating officer of SPORTFIVE, “Jurgen Klopp is the embodiment of excellence, mentoring, emotional intelligence, leadership, and long-term vision.” “His values are a perfect fit for ours, and we are thrilled to work with Project MJK to expand Jurgen’s reach internationally.”
Ron Wiegand, senior vice president of global athlete & team marketing at SPORTFIVE, stated in the interim that the club is honored to have Jurgen Klopp and Project MJK on board.
“We are incredibly excited to effectively expand Jurgen’s brand internationally in the coming years, encompassing media partnerships, social media management, and new genuine business ventures.”
