Jay Stansfield has denied reports that he may move from Birmingham City to Coventry City.

The forward has been linked with a move to newly promoted Coventry City, who are preparing for life in the Premier League.

Since his record-breaking move from Fulham to St. Andrew’s in the summer of 2024, the 23-year-old has been a crucial player for the Blues.

Stansfield was signed for £15 million, the largest amount ever paid by a League One club.

The striker has 29 goals in 81 league appearances for Chris Davies’ side, including 10 from 44 outings in the Championship last year.

However, he is again facing speculation about his future, with the Sky Blues circling a potential move before the September 1 deadline.

Stansfield has the most goals and assists for Birmingham last season of any player on Davies’ team, with ten and six, respectively.

The forward was an important member of the squad, which finished 10th in their first season back in the Championship.
