After spending a cool £3.8 million on a new pad, Jadon Sancho might have dropped a major hint about whether or not he will rejoin Manchester United for the upcoming campaign. The 24-year-old fell out with Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag in public, and he spent the second half of the season on loan with Borussia Dortmund.

After spending £72 million to leave the German team in 2021, the England winger failed to live up to the hype. He later took issue with Ten Hag on social media when Sancho was left off the squad for an August trip to Arsenal.

He was immediately kicked off the United first team, but Dortmund wanted to bring him back to the team that gave him a good platform in his early football career, so they offered him a chance at redemption.

After putting on two standout performances during the semifinal matchup with Paris Saint-Germain, Sancho has paid Dortmund back handsomely, assisting them in making it to the Champions League final. The Bundesliga team is hoping to sign him long-term, even though the loan agreement does not include a buyout clause and Sancho has hinted that a return to United is likely.

According to The Sun, Sancho recently bought a magnificent mansion in Hale, Greater Manchester, for £3.8 million. The five-bedroom house has an indoor pool and a movie theater, but the drawback is that Ten Hag’s residence is right around the corner.

The fact that Sancho has been spotted at his new, still-under-construction house may indicate that Old Trafford is where the player’s long-term future is. Many will assume that Sancho has his sights set on rejoining the United first team, even though he may enjoy living in Manchester and would like to own real estate there if he leaves the team.

Though the Dutchman revealed that talks have already taken place with Sancho, and the two may end their feud in the summer, he could be headed for an awkward run-in at home with Ten Hag.

Ten Hag said, “We are close in that process,” in response to a question earlier this month about whether Sancho’s progress was being tracked. We have seen more games from Dortmund where Jadon was performing, in addition to the Champions League semi-final (I won’t name all the games). We will continue with this process after our visit and conversation with him.

“Let’s wrap up the season first. There was a conflict. Thus, ignore this matter for the time being as it is unimportant. He is playing in the semi-final return leg, and things are not going well for them in the league.
