Manchester City

In response to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s “means more” taunt ahead of Manchester City’s match, Pep Guardiola

In response to remarks made by Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold prior to Sunday’s crucial match at Anfield, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has taken aim.

With a victory over Jurgen Klopp’s team, the treble winners hope to surpass Liverpool and take the top spot in the Premier League standings this weekend when they visit Merseyside.

Manchester City hopes to defeat both Liverpool and Arsenal to win the Premier League trophy. They are undefeated since early December and defeated Manchester United 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.

With two games separating the three teams heading into this weekend’s games, Pep Guardiola’s team is aiming to become the first to win four straight Premier League titles.

After the forthcoming international break, Arsenal will visit the Etihad Stadium for their next two league games against both Liverpool and City.

The Sky Blues were held to a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at the Etihad in November after Trent Alexander-Arnold cancelled out Erling Haaland’s first-half goal in the rematch against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
