Norwich City will enter the new season with confidence following a successful end to 2025/26 under Philippe Clement.

The Canaries finished ninth in the Championship table, eight points behind the play-off spots, but a good run of form lifted them out of relegation trouble.

The Belgian coach took over in November and turned the team around in the second half of the season.

The Norfolk club has already signed Andre Brooks and Sam Field, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Carrow Road.

Bruno Alves has also joined Clement’s team on a temporary basis from Cruzeiro, but further signings are expected between now and the 1 September deadline.

Sky Sports (10.36) reports that Hull City are looking into signing Kellen Fisher following their promotion to the Premier League.

Although no contact has yet been made between the two clubs, the full-back has emerged as a potential transfer target.

The 22-year-old joined the Canaries from Bromley in 2023 and has since established himself as a key member of the club.

The defender has made 90 league appearances for the Championship club, including 43 in 2025/26.

Fisher’s contract with Norwich runs until June 2028, so there is no pressing need to sell this summer.

It’s unclear what kind of sum would be required to get the Norfolk club to cash in at this point, but Pink Un has stated that the club would be reluctant to lose the player given their promotion hopes.
