Every Real Madrid Player’s Wage [2025]

In brief
One of the world’s most remarkable teams is Real Madrid’s.
With the club, players like Jude Bellingham and Luka Modric are making enormous sums of money.
Kylian Mbappe’s salary with Los Blancos will be significantly lower than his salary at PSG.
Real Madrid has assembled one of the best youth teams in football thanks to some excellent work during the transfer market in recent years. Few teams in the world of football can match them, especially with players like Thibaut Courtois, Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe, and Jude Bellingham on the team. But as a result, they are undoubtedly paying for their skill, and they have a sizable payroll.

The club’s highest-paid player, Toni Kroos, decided to retire at the end of the 2023–2024 season, hence his pay was no longer recorded. However, they took in Kylian Mbappe instead, and in his first season, the former Paris Saint-Germain player has swept Spain. The payroll at Madrid is only growing every year, with reports circulating that Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool may potentially be on the verge of moving to the Santiago Bernabeu. But what does it look like now? What is the difference between Mbappe’s weekly salary and that of some of his teammates? Now is the time to learn.

Thibaut Courtois is the best goalie.

Nobody should be surprised that Thibaut Courtois is by far the most paid player in goal. Since joining Madrid from Chelsea in 2018, the Belgian has been their first pick. With the exception of injury absences, his position in the starting lineup is always certain, and his weekly salary reflects that. Courtois receives £248,249 per week.

The only other goalie in the first team roster right now, Andriy Lunin, is a little distance behind him and makes £46,505 a week. He isn’t anticipated to get many first-team appearances as Courtois’ backup, but he excelled during the former Chelsea player’s injury last season, even keeping loanee keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga out of the lineup.

Protectors
One of the highest-paid defenders would be Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Similar to goalkeeping, Real Madrid has a clear victor when it comes to the highest-paid defenders, with David Alaba earning over £100,000 per week more than any other member of the team. It is astounding that the Swiss full-back earns £372,373 per week. At £234,139 a week, Antonio Rudiger and Eder Militao earn exactly the same amount of money.

The full-backs Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy also receive the same salary, £172,450 every week. The last defender to earn six figures per week is Lucas Vasquez, who takes home £155,238. Raul Asencio, Jesus Vallejo, and Fran Garcia complete the list of defenders with weekly salaries of £13,493, £28,914, and £86,225, respectively.

The Sun reports that Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool has reached an agreement to sign a free transfer to Madrid in the summer, earning £240,000 per week in the process. He will now be the seventh best paid player overall at the Santiago Bernabeu and the second-highest paid defender. As they continue to put together one of the best teams in football history, Madrid will only be pleased to pay the price for one of the greatest right-backs in the world.

Jude Bellingham, a midfielder, is quite wealthy.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2023, Jude Bellingham has been playing like the best midfield player in the world and earning the highest salary of any player in the world. With a weekly salary of £344,735 at the Santiago Bernabeu, the Englishman leads Federico Valverde by a wide margin in second position among the team’s midfielders. With Aurelien Tchouameni earning over £200k on £206,874 per week, the Spaniard earns £275,887 every seven days.

Given that Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos both earn £172,450 per week, the final two midfield players in the team are actually tied. The Croatian, who is in his late 30s, has begun to slow down after achieving some legendary feats at Madrid, such as winning the Ballon d’Or in 2018. He no longer has the legs to perform the same magic that he once regularly did, and he is less noticeable on the side. That is also reflected in his pay, which is far lower than it would have been a few years ago.

The Forwards
Kylian Mbappe is the highest-paid player for Real Madrid.

With more than half a million pounds earned each week, Kylian Mbappe is by far Real Madrid’s best paid player at the moment. It’s an incredible number that demonstrates how well-liked he is at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, with 36 goal contributions in 44 games thus far, he has done a good job of paying them back. Vinicius Jr. is in second place among the forwards, a considerable distance behind him. The Ballon d’Or candidate earns somewhat less than £350,000 each week.

Brahim Diaz is the last forward earning more than £100k a week, while his fellow Brazilian Rodryo earns £206,874. Arda Guler and Endrick complete the group with weekly incomes of £83,566 and £66,845 respectively, while the 25-year-old earns £120,649 a week.
