The “so-called experts” who have pummeled Erik ten Hag’s struggling Manchester United team this season have now been faced. With growing rumors about his future, the Dutchman came out swinging before the FA Cup final.

After United finished third in their first season, Ten Hag received a lot of praise. However, the 54-year-old has come under fire following a miserable season in which the Red Devils finished eighth. According to numerous reports, INEOS is ready to fire their head coach following the FA Cup final on Saturday.

The manager of United has taken issue with the way his team has been covered this season. “Manchester United is an easy target for English pundits who want to score goals and prove they are worth the money,” he stated.

It’s the biggest club in the world, if not in England. There is no middle ground—you either love or hate the club. As a result, when things go wrong, they all start talking a lot and using big words.

All this negativity coming from these so-called experts who would rather make themselves look better by attacking others rather than using facts to analyze something. And it was these same individuals who congratulated me on a job well done last year. I was the Premier League’s worst manager this year, but last year I could walk on water.”

“The last time Manchester United won the league was in 2013, which was eleven years ago,” he continued. They still anticipate us to compete at the highest level and win every game, though. That’s not what this club is ready for.

“We made the first steps toward building something last year, as planned, but you soon realize that this club is enormous and that no one is ever happy. Although everyone in the club was happy, there was commotion outside saying things like, “I won the Carabao Cup, lost the FA Cup Final, and came in third.”

This season, the injury lists of the majority of Premier League clubs have significantly increased; however, United’s squad has been completely destroyed. A significant portion of the campaign has been missed by Mason Mount, Casemiro, Rasmus Hojlund, Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, and Victor Lindelof.

“There has been an insane amount of injuries. I had to start my fifteenth different center-back combination of the season not too long ago. This season, I’ve had 33 different defensive lines,” Ten Hag remarked.

“Four times, Sofyan Amrabat was forced to play left back. On the field, injuries have occurred everywhere. Casemiro hasn’t played in a while. The striker we purchased, Rasmus Hojlund, sustained three injuries—I could go on forever. This is our season’s central narrative.
