Emi Marcondes, a former Norwich City player, has cautioned that Mo Toure will not be with the club for long because he is meant for greater things.
The forward joined Carrow Road from Danish club Randers in January and has made a significant impact in the months since.
The 22-year-old helped Philippe Clement’s side climb the Championship table to ninth place, only eight points from the play-offs.
He scored nine goals and three assists in 11 league appearances last season, and he has carried that success into the new season.
Toure scored again this weekend, making it four from six in the second tier as Clement’s team lost 4-3 to Middlesbrough.
The Australian international has a contract with Norfolk until June 2030.

Emi Marcondes issues Mo Toure caution to Norwich.
Marcondes believes Toure is bound for greater things if he maintains his outstanding form from last season into the current season.
He has warned Norwich that the club will struggle to keep him for much longer, following rumours about his future in the final weeks of the summer transfer market.
“A very nice guy and so powerful as a player,” Marcondes told 10 Sport.
“He had a great season last year and is already starting this season in the same way, scoring and being very important to the team.”
“I think it’s a matter of time how long he’s going to stay in Norwich for.”
In the last weeks of the transfer window, Hull City and Porto were said to be interested in signing Toure.
Trabzonspor, a Turkish club, were also interested in the forward, but an agreement was not reached, and he remained at Carrow Road.
This was a boost for Clement’s team, as the 22-year-old had a good start to the new season.
Goals against Burnley and Sheffield United helped the squad win two games, and he also scored in the stunning seven-goal defeat to Borough at the weekend.

Last summer, Norwich fans were divided on the notion of moving Toure, with some arguing that a large fee would be worth contemplating.

A number of £15 million was offered as a reasonable amount for Norwich to accept.
Mo Toure is more Premier League ready.
It was understandable to have some reservations about Toure over the summer, given that he had only experienced a brief period of good form for Norwich.
Carrying his steady goal scoring into this season demonstrates that he was no fluke, and fans will undoubtedly want the Canaries to do everything possible to keep him.
Toure could be key to the club’s promotion hopes this season, but he will undoubtedly attract interest in January if he maintains his current form.
Given that he is still only 22, it is only a matter of time before he is playing in a high league, whether it is the Premier League or elsewhere.
