To his credit, Garnacho has battled his way back into the team, but he is still a name that Amorim might use to finance incomings. However, the Red Devils may resort to a deal if those substantial finances are unavailable and Garnacho remains in place.
In light of Lyon’s present financial difficulties, Rayan Cherki is available for just €22 million (£18 million), and Manchester United has already made its first move in the race to recruit him, according to Caught Offside.
In lieu of players like Garnacho and Rashford, Manchester United would be smart to take action and acquire a player who would fit well into Amorim’s system at such a low cost.
Cherki is “magnificent” and captivating to see.
Profiting from Garnacho and then switching to Cherki, which is less expensive, would undoubtedly be a choice that fits INEOS’ cost-cutting strategies. It wouldn’t be crazy to say that there is yet a lot more to come for the versatile attacker, who can play as an offensive midfielder and on both sides, given he is only 21 years old.
