FEE AGREED: Arsenal splashes £100 million on Top European Superstar, with deal to be completed Today: Here we go in the next few hours.

Manchester United has struggled with the center-forward position in recent seasons. They bought Romelu Lukaku during Jose Mourinho’s reign to address this issue.

However, he never flourished in his time at Old Trafford. After allowing him to leave, former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer chose to keep faith in Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman struggled with injuries before departing as a free agent last summer. Erik ten Hag signed Rasmus Hojlund ahead of the previous season with long-term goals in mind.

However, the 21-year-old hasn’t met expectations. Joshua Zirkzee was purchased to support the Dane last summer, but he has had difficulty adjusting to his new surroundings.

So far this season, the duo has combined for only five Premier League goals. So, new head coach Ruben Amorim is said to be willing to sign a new striker once more.

According to TalkSPORT, Manchester United is interested in RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko, but Arsenal is also a contender. The Gunners were eager to hire him last summer and had already laid the groundwork for this agreement.

The Slovenian is sold on the North London club’s plans and is willing to switch to the Emirates Stadium over the Red Devils. As a result, Amorim’s team has suffered a significant setback in this race.

Despite Arsenal’s attempts last summer, the player stayed at Leipzig for a season to further his career, but he is expected to leave this year. He is unlikely to move in the middle of the season, but a deal could happen at the end of the season, with Leipzig looking for around £70 million.

Following Gabriel Jesus’ serious knee injury, Mikel Arteta’s only option for CF is Kai Havertz. However, the German has not been able to demonstrate consistency this season.

Sesko is one of the most exciting young strikers in the world, and he has been in excellent form this season, contributing 17 goals across all competitions.

In your opinion, who should Manchester United look for if they fail to sign Sesko?
