Marvin Ducksch was absent when Birmingham City defeated Wrexham 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Chris Davies dropped Marvin Ducksch from Birmingham City’s squad on Sunday owing to a ‘internal situation’.
The two-time Germany international, who leads the Blues in goals this season with 11 in all competitions, did not play in the 2-0 win over Wrexham at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.
When asked why Ducksch was absent, Davies replied, “Marvin was (missed) today due of a choice I made in terms of team selection.’
“At this point, all I can say is that it’s an internal matter that is being dealt with.”‘
Ducksch joined the Blues from Werder Bremen last summer and has two years left on his contract, though whispers have circulated that he could leave when the transfer window reopens.
Davies failed to clarify whether Ducksch, 32, will be considered for selection in the Championship’s final four games.
“At this moment in time, we need to assess everything and see where we go,” Davies said.
Ducksch made 35 appearances in all competitions in his first season with the Blues, but the attacker was recently replaced in the attack by August Priske.
