Chelsea confident of quick manager appointment amid shock and sadness within the squad

It is not anticipated that Thomas Tuchel and Hansi Flick will be competing.

Chelsea is certain that they will find Mauricio Pochettino’s replacement quickly.

Ruben Amorim of Sporting Lisbon, Kieran McKenna of Ipswich, and Sebastian Hoeness of Stuttgart are a few of the early contenders to take over at Stamford Bridge.

The owners of Chelsea have long-standing respect for Burnley’s Vincent Kompany and admiration for Brentford’s Thomas Frank. Girona’s Michel and Leicester’s Enzo Maresca are also contenders.

Chelsea’s owners, who decided to part ways with manager Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday night, think they can find a replacement manager quickly.

Even though Thomas Tuchel, the former manager of the Blues, is free to leave Bayern Munich, he will not be choosing to move back to west London. After leaving Stamford Bridge in 2022, Tuchel’s relationship with the Chelsea hierarchy fell apart, and neither side would be eager to get back together right now.

Another unlikely candidate for the Chelsea position is Hansi Flick, a former manager of Bayern Munich and Germany. Chelsea is looking for a young, coach with room to grow who can develop with the team.

After a challenging season and midway through his Stamford Bridge contract, Pochettino departed Chelsea. Pochettino’s departure is said to have shocked and upset Chelsea’s players, especially since the 52-year-old had the Blues back on the winning track.

Now, in just 13 months, co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital are looking for their third permanent manager, and they are under extreme pressure to make the right choice this time.

Chelsea celebrated hiring a “world-class coach” when Pochettino arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer of last year. Chelsea was ranked 11th at the beginning of April due to crippling injuries and an unbalanced squad, but Pochettino was able to turn things around and lead Chelsea to an incredible finish to the season.

Even though Pochettino secured Chelsea’s European qualification by winning just once in their last 15 league games, the outcome has still fallen short of expectations.

Co-owners and sporting directors of Chelsea had grown increasingly enraged with Pochettino, and their divergent visions finally proved irreconcilable. There were no arguments between Pochettino and Chelsea’s chief executives, Boehly, Behdad Eghbali, and Jose Feliciano, when he left. Pochettino will be in high demand right away because Bayern Munich and Manchester United are still interested in hiring him.

Chelsea’s sporting directors, Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley, released the following statement last night: “We would like to express our gratitude to Mauricio for his service.” We wish him the best of luck and will always welcome him back to Stamford Bridge.”

“I am grateful to the Chelsea ownership group and sporting directors for giving me the chance to be a part of this football club’s history,” Pochettino stated. The team is now in a strong position to continue growing in the upcoming years in both the Premier League and Europe.”
