Burnley manager Nicky Hayen has revealed that on-loan Chelsea forward Dastan Satpayev will miss the next few weeks due to injury.
The ex-Club Brugge manager has had a difficult start at Turf Moor, with the Clarets having only two points from five games after losing to Bristol City on Saturday, leaving them at the bottom of the league table.
Even though it’s early in the season, some of the performances have been troubling, with Satpayev standing out as a bright spot.

The 18-year-old Kazakhstan international joined Burnley from Chelsea in the summer, and it’s fair to say he entered as an unknown, having only played senior games for Kairat Almaty in his home country.
Satpayev, on the other hand, arrived with a strong reputation, and he was a standout for Burnley in recent games against Norwich and Middlesbrough, despite the fact that both were defeats.

As a result, fans were concerned that Satpayev’s absence against the Robins was due to a fitness issue, and Hayen revealed to the Burnley Express that the youngster will be sidelined for some time.
“He will be out for a few weeks, unfortunately,” Hayen confirmed.This is one of the signs. As I already stated, he had a preseason, but it was not a full preseason. We strive to push players while still protecting them, and the key is to strike the right balance.
Burnley will suffer greatly without Dastan Satpayev.
This is not good news for Burnley fans, as Satpayev has been very outstanding since his arrival, playing with intensity, pace, and an unwavering desire to take shots.
Most would agree that he had been Burnley’s finest player in recent defeats, and the squad didn’t seem particularly good without him against Bristol City.
Perhaps the only good is that the injury does not look to be a long-term issue, and with the international break beginning after the home game against Derby on September 19, Satpayev is likely to miss only three matches.
Nonetheless, it is a blow for Burnley, who will be looking for their first league victory against Wrexham before facing another Welsh side in Swansea on Saturday.

Even without Satpayev, Burnley should be able to achieve much better following a disappointing start.
Hayen may legitimately point to the transfer window and claim he did not receive the necessary support, but there is still talent in this bunch.
The fans are upset with how the season has started, and it is ultimately the fault of the owner, manager, and players for this terrible start, which is unacceptable given that they were hoping for automatic promotion.
So they must now band together and try to produce some positive results ahead of the forthcoming break, even if they will be without the brilliant Satpayev.
