This weekend, Jose Mourinho will make his way back to England to serve as a pundit for TNT Sports’ coverage of the Champions League final.

The Serie A powerhouse AS Roma fired the former manager of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in January, and he hasn’t had a full-time job in football since. The Portuguese’s relationship with the club soured, and at the start of the season, the decision was made to part ways, even though he led the team to the UEFA Conference League in the 2021/22 season.

Since then, Mourinho has been active in Saudi Arabia, where he is rumored to be wanted by several clubs. The 61-year-old has stated that he would like to work in the Middle East someday.

However, Mourinho hasn’t completely ruled out going back to the Premier League. The seasoned manager would “walk to Manchester,” according to our colleagues at the Manchester Evening News, if it meant he could return to leadership at Manchester United.

Mourinho was rumored to be returning to Chelsea for a third stint, but those two possibilities don’t seem likely. It is confirmed, however, that this weekend at Wembley Stadium, the two-time Champions League winner will share his professional analysis with English viewers.

On Saturday night, Real Madrid, the former team of Mourinho, will play Borussia Dortmund. As heavy favorites to win a record-breaking 15th Champions League, Los Blancos go into the match.

Madrid, led by the outstanding Jude Bellingham, will be confident going up against a Dortmund team that some believe had an easier path to the championship. But in the semi-finals, the German team impressed by defeating Kylian Mbappe’s PSG 2-0 overall.
