Bad News: as Brentford will be without eight players for Manchester United clash

For their Premier League home match against Manchester United on Saturday, Brentford is anticipated to be missing eight players.
The Bees’ season has been difficult due to injuries, as they have only managed 26 points from 29 games, placing them in 15th place, five points above the drop zone.

After the international break, Brentford will take on Man United in a challenging match to continue their survival attempt.

Regretfully, none of Thomas Frank’s injured players will recover in time for the match on Saturday at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Ethan Pinnock, a defender, suffered an ankle injury against Wolverhampton Wanderers on February 10 and has missed the last six games.

Due to an adductor problem, forward Kevin Schade has only made six appearances this season. He hasn’t played since September.

According to Frank, Pinnock and Schade are both improving, but the competition on Saturday will come too soon for them.

“For the past two weeks, Kevin Schade has been training with the squad,” Frank informed reporters on Friday. “It looks better but it’s still too early for him to be involved tomorrow.”

“Ethan Pinnock is making good progress, but he is still too young. The two of them are headed in the right direction.

Additionally, full-back Aaron Hickey is “further down the line” in his recovery from a hamstring injury, according to the Brentford manager.

This season, Hickey has been limited to just 11 games and hasn’t appeared on the field since helping his team defeat Chelsea 2-0 in October.

According to Frank, Christian Norgaard, the captain, is “progressing” in his recuperation from a back injury he sustained during the team’s earlier-month loss to Arsenal.

Ben Mee (ankle), Rico Henry (knee), and Josh Dasilva (knee) will also be out for the rest of the season, making it impossible for the Bees to use them.

Sergio Reguilon, a Tottenham Hotspur loanee, played for Man United during the first half of the season. However, due to his dismissal against Burnley prior to the international break, he will be unable to face his old team.
