Arsenal slammed for ’embarrassing’ subtle dig at Man Utd after FA Cup final

Following Saturday’s FA Cup final, Arsenal came under fire for making a “embarrassing”ly subtle jab at Manchester United.

After Pep Guardiola’s team won the Premier League and Liverpool won the Carabao Cup, United surprised Manchester City at Wembley to win the year’s last major domestic trophy.

Arsenal, on the other hand, missed out on the premier league title on the last day of the season and ended up with just the Community Shield to add to their trophy cabinet.

However, after the FA Cup final, the Gunners could not help but make a subtle jab at United on social media by bragging that they had won the trophy more times than United.

Arsenal posted their own message, saying, “We have a legacy in the FA Cup like no other team having lifted the trophy a record 14 times,” just four minutes after United posted the full-time score on X.

“Who were the starting players in each of our seven victories since 2000?”

After defeating City, United has now won the FA Cup 13 times, one more than Arsenal.

Arsenal has received backlash on social media for their “cringe” statement, which said, “You’re the smallest club in London,” from @ManLikeIcey. Chelsea surpasses [you].

“Cringe Admin here,” Added is @Yasuke1886. “The season was better for [Manchester] United.”

@LFCVik2, a Liverpool supporter, stated: “[Arsenal] won 0 trophies, mate don’t beg it.”
