In response to his angry reaction to being substituted during the match against Ipswich Town, Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho posted a comment on Instagram consisting of four words earlier today.
Following the dismissal of Patrick Dorgu for a poor challenge on Omari Hutchinson at the conclusion of the first half, Ruben Amorim substituted Noussair Mazraoui for Garnacho and brought on another defender. Garnacho was replaced by Mazraoui.
Garnacho, however, was dissatisfied with the decision and chose to walk straight down the tunnel in a clear demonstration of his dissatisfaction. Amorim was questioned about this decision during his press conference following the match.
Subsequently, he posted a picture of himself on social media, in which he appeared bewildered, but he did not include a caption.
On the other hand, he has since posted once more on Thursday morning, expressing his happiness over the 3-2 victory that moved United up to the fourteenth position in the table.
His writing read, “Important three points! As a team, we are Manchester United (strong emoji).
In the early stages of his tenure, Amorim made the decision to remove Garnacho and Marcus Rashford from the team. Both players were not included in the squad that competed in the derby against Manchester City.
As a result of the victory in Ipswich, Amorim discussed the Argentine player going down the tunnel early. Garnacho has been in and out of the team and has returned to the fold.
Amorim’s response to the arrival of Garnacho in the tunnel “It was cold and wet, maybe,” the Portuguese said.
It was anticipated that we would play more in the 5-3-1 formation. Even though I am aware that this is a risk because you are possibly the only player who has one against one pace, I had the impression that the team was doing a good job of controlling the game, and it was almost time for halftime.
“After that, you will make the correction. Because we need to select someone to go out with, and because we also need to consider the set pieces, I decided to go out with them.
Amorim was then questioned about whether or not he was dissatisfied with Garnacho’s behaviour, and he confirmed that he will have a conversation with the former player from the Atletico Madrid academy.
Do you believe that you are establishing a connection with Rashford? Then he continued, “I know, I know.”
I am going to talk about that with Garnacho, and if you want, I will talk about it during the next press conference. What I am saying is that I am going to talk about that very obviously.
This season, Garnacho has appeared for United in the Premier League on 25 occasions, scoring three goals in those appearances. On Sunday, United will make their return to action when they play Fulham at home in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
